Phaeno Science Museum

Phaeno Science Center in Wolfsburg includes “The Particle” in its exhibition Licht.Schatten.Farbe (Light.Colour.Shadow). The show focuses on the relationship between art and science through a selection of works by international artists.
Forty interactive installations allow the visitor to explore the nature of light, colour and shadow. Laser beams, LEDs and plasma are on display along with fluorescent jellyfishes and northern lights exploring in depth our aesthetic fascination with light phenomena.
Licht.Schatten.Farbe includes works by Paul Frielander, Wayne Stratman, Bill Parker, Golan Levin, Zachary Lieberman, Alejandro and Moira Sina, Cork Marcheschi, Werner Bauer, Scott Snibbe, Alex Posada, Bernd Weinmayer and Bernd Schulz. Phaeno Science Center is located in the German industrial city of Wolfsburg. The Science Center, designed by Zaha Hadid, offers a permanent show with more than 350 scientific phenomena, a programme of activities and workshops as well as facilities that include laboratories and a theatre.
